Egg Carton Kid’s Crafts Ideas:

An octopus, a whale, and a jellyfish that can be used to decorate the ocean that I’ll share later.

Octopus, jellyfish, whale, made with egg cartons. Crafts made with egg cartons.

Materials:

  • A carton of eggs
  • White, blue, purple and red paper
  • Red and light blue acrylic paints
  • Wiggle eyes
  • Glue
  • Scissors, pencil, and brushes
  • Black marker

Steps:

Carefully trim each of the spaces on the egg carton, you can trim them all if you want to make multiple characters.

  • For the whale:
  1. Paint the cardboard with light blue and let it dry.
  2. Draw the fins (2) and the tail of the fish on blue paper, making sure to leave a space. Glue the tail on the back and the fins on the sides.
  3. Fold a white paper horizontally and trim two thin strips. Glue them on top of the cardboard.
  4. Pass the sharp edge of the scissors very gently through the strip of paper to create a wavy on it.
